Wow, thank you all for being so nice. I'm certain TQ will be lots of fun to read, share pictures and a good learning experience overall. I was reading Steve's blog and I thought it was an excellent read. The Spanish/ American war was a quick war and is one that hardly anyone remembers. The Maine is the highlight in most history books. Thank you Steve for your input. I've started doing some searching of my own too although I have to make a balance between work and play. I've noticed the area where the small Spanish fortifications are located in the southern part of the Island, is very rough terrain. Hard limestone ground and bushes, some spinny that overlook the landing bay. Good idea to build a fortification but it's maybe a hard place to MD. At any rate, I wanted to make it to the beach yesterday to test drive my new DFX but my wife had other plans for me and the kids. Oh well, I'll test drive my new DFX maybe next weekend. I'll try the pre-sets first to see how it goes and then I'll move on to tweaking with it as I gain experience . Again, thank you all for being so nice and I'm looking forward to reading all your posts.
