Default New here from Upstate,NY

Hello, I'm a 34/m/NY and I am thinking of buying a Metal detector, a WHite's Classic 5ID. My dad has a big bud pro, minelab Explorer XS, and a GP 3500. We just came back from Stanton Arizona to this cold, snowy, rainy days. I miss the heat and people.
I havent seen or read many reveiws or tips on this machine yet. I have had dreams(literally) of having a white's. one reason I am going with it. Minelab is my 2nd choice.

As another upstate NYer welcome. Yeah things have been slow waiting for spring to get here and the snow this weekend did not help. Hopefully within the next week or so we could get out and play for the season. Good luck on your finds and for this region any good modern machine will serve you well.

Thanks everyone. It will be nice to get out again. My dad and his family(13 brothers and sisters) started out using White's.

Welcome to Treasure Quest!
You'll do fine with whatever machine you decide on. Just ask alot of questions of the people on here. There's alot of knowledge to learn from.

Happy Hunting!
