New to metal detecting and TQ
First a little about myself, I am fairly new to the area, I moved to the Chambersburg PA. area not to long ago to marry the woman of my dreams (yes she really is), so do not know the area all that well. I am a retired/disabled military vet (20 years in the Navy).
I am hoping to find someone local to go out MD’ing with and to show me some possible spots around the area. Like I stated earlier, I am retired so am available just about anytime. I have worked a couple of areas close by and so far have only found a few clad coins. Anyone in the area interested can contact me at digenes@comcast.net

Grasshopper,
I knew I forgot to add something to the post. My lovely wife, went out and purchased a DFX for me. She saw how much fun I was having with my cheap old Radio Shack special (Discovery 2200), and figured I deserved something better.

Hi, Digenes and welcome to TQ! Your wife made a great choice in a detector and that baby should pull the coins out of the ground for you!
I hope that someone here is nearby and can meet with you. I am looking forward to seeing what that machine can do in your hands and hope to see some great finds soon!
