Welcome to TQ..hope you enjoy the hobby...as for the metal on the body issue...just dont wear steel toed boots (I'm guessing that just wouldnt work out too well...) Im a aircraft mechanic and have to do my Clark Kent routine and change over to my Superman MD'ing outfit when I go home on Fridays as I hit the beach on the way home...nice way to chill out just before the weekend...
