Wow! I lived in Cal Park from 56 until 2002. Did a lot of hang'n out at Nick's and Freddies in Dolton too. Never did visit the Zoo, but I've heard it was kind of a Star-Wars bar - sorry I missed it. It would be neat to meet-up.

Funny how when I was growing up (Belmont/Central area) I considered anything south of North Ave to be on the south side...but did in fact spend a little time on the south side...worked as a teenager in the Pilsen Nieghborhood on 22nd/ Blue Island (if I can recall) Still have all of the familia living on the Northside...both wife's and mine. Welcome to TQ....Hope to hear tales of action and adventure soon...
