Default Hello From Crestwood, IL

Hello. I just joined. I've owned detectors since the early 80's, but only really started to swing regularly in the last 3 years. I live in a town a little south-west of Chicago.

Howdy, and Welcome to TQ! Great to have you here. Can't wait to see some of your finds. I like your saying, "I must be swinging the wrong end" Thats how I feel.

I called 6 or 7 places - like Amvets. I told them I had a stereo for them. Then they'd ask if it was a console stereo, and when I said yes, they all said they don't take those anymore. My brother and I donated it to the dumpster behind the pool-hall.

If you've got nuth'n to do on Saturday night, I should get to the pool-hall around 9:30 pm. (120th & Pulaski - look for the Jewel - then look for the billiards sign).

ERnurse and carolinagirl69 you're invited too, and thank you for the nice welcome!
