Default Hello to all from a newbe on Long Island

Greetings , I've been Mding since February,08 and am having a blast. Got a DFX on ebay for what seems to be a resonable price and since have added a Bullseye 120 and a sand scoop and a Lesche digger. Hopefully will get new headphones in the near future too.So far have dug about $10 in clad a small button a coin from Luxumburg 1 wheat and a Indian head nickel which I partially destroyed trying to clean it( DO NOT use muriatic acid ) Oh and did I mention that i've dug tons of tabs and tops and sinkers and nails and countless other pieces of trash (which i've desposed of properly) And i'm still having fun. Love the site and will visit often. Keep up the good work. Spencer

Welcome linesider to TQ. Sounds like you are starting out pretty well. You can't find the good stuff till you find the junk.
Have fun and happy hunting.
