Default Obsessed newbie?

Greetings all. Newbie here and already thoroughly obsessed (according to my wife). Bought an M-6 about a month ago and have already spent many hours in what I consider training (because real MD'ing would have resulted in more finds, I'm sure). Anyway, glad to find a site where I can learn general principles and more specifics on my machine from those who have already tried and succeeded!

Welcome to TQ. The M6 is a top notch machine, it is just great!! Take some time and learn the tones too. I am still learning new things every time I am out w/ my M6! Enjoy!

What's happening? It's 3:50am, and normally I'd be sleeping. But there is a CRAZY mocking bird outside the window(it's pitch-black dark). This bird has been driving me nuts ALL night. IF i COULD FIND THIS THING WITH A FLASHLIGHT, there would be a big bang.
