Are you talking about MD'ing in Arizona in general? You can do a lot of stuff there including leasing. What part are you referring to? Specifically?

Thumbs up

Sure is, I used to live in San Diego and have spent much time in Quartzsite. I am not sure but I believe there are quite a few old mines out there. The area is very rich in gems and minerals. Loads of rock shops out there. i know that there used to be some copper mines there too. I think that the old washes and dry river beds are good places to start if you are looking for nuggets. Lots of Snowbirds down there in the winter

be on the lookout for tourmaline and quartz deposits if you are roaming around the desert!

Join GPAA they have several claims available in the area. There's a couple of other groups that have claims close. Grab a copy of Where to Find Arizonas Placer Gold, or Arizonas Little known Gold Placers. they're a good place to start Hope that helps you out a bit!!

Hi 1911, I wish I were able to be out there with ya. I miss the Arizona desert! Your very fortunate. Be careful and be sure to let us know your progress if you can. God Bless and take care.
