Thumbs up Charlotte Gold Plentiful

Hey James

I looked into it a long time ago, for something to do in Charlotte, on my days off work. Never got a chance to do much with it though.

The first gold found in the US was found at the Reed Mine close to you: Reed Gold Mine State Historic Site

I understand it's still a nice hobby down there with lots of places to look.

Thanks
Leo

Gold prospecting is one of my new year's resolutions...never have done it - but really want to give it a shot...both with a MD and panning...good luck!

Oh, by the way - I hear that a lot of people still pan for gold in northern Georgia...quite a large strike in the area years ago...

Good luck. Try a little gold panning while you are out there. Best of Luck

Take a look at Bert-Bert's posts about dowsing. It may help you if you can get the hang of it.

Hey Liquid, unless you and Ms. Liquid are doing the gold prospecting together, how's about remembering your old buddy from up the road.....

Been wanting to lay an eyeball on your new machine anyhow.

Later.....
