Default First Sluice Surprise

I just bought my sluice box and decided to take it with me while I go relic/rock hunting. The road to the ghost town was closed so I wandered around until I found a nice muddy road to challenge my wrangler with. I finally found a perfect rock spot where I collected Agates, Jaspers, and other wonders.

We have had heavy, heavy run off this year. They have closed many roads from all the run off in fact, but I find this to be very very nice to gold prospectors. I tried my brand new medium sized Keene sluice box out on this stream to test out the instructions.

To my surprised I found a crap load of copper... or something reddish and metallic.

I replayed my experiences, shoveling gravel from the "shadows" of the stream run off. and came up with a lot more copper!

This was a pleasant surprise, but at the same time... it really JUST copper dust, and I shouldn't worry bout it.

Anywho, anyone from the Northwest have any hot spots they want to share?

Thanks in advance!

I live in Boise/Kuna, ID... not too far away. I'd be willing to trade good locations with you if you are interested.
