Yep, Crater of Diamonds. Good luck to you! You're traveling a far piece from home so I hope you find lots. I used to drive from IL to New Orleans on a fairly regular basis so it seems just a short trip to me.

I would really rather go east and look for other gems as well but this is my mom's trip and she wants diamonds.

Tonight's the night! My family the delayed father's day festivities so I could be there. My dad's rather difficult at times so I'm hoping he's in a receptive mood and has fun with his dirt. I am sure the rest of us will!

I may go out early and swing around the park while I'm in Kenney. Now that I know where the old houses used to be. First I need to recover from diggind a huge honkin' hole in my front yard to uncover a large piece of iron. I'm calling it a manure spreader paddle because that seems to be the type of things I'm finding. But at least I'm finding things and I think getting closer to where I want to be. I think I should be planting some trees in the enormous holes I'm digging.
