Default Prospecting question !!!!!

I was watching a GPAA Prospecting America show today...Perry Massie had a guy named Chris Gholson on with him ..in Stanton AZ running the new Minelab GP Extreme. Chris mentioned something that surprised me, he said that the GP Extreme was a "PI" machine. Well I have a PI machine, but its a Garrett Sea Hunter Mark II. Can I assume that this may work for me on nuggets in the desert as well as on the surf at the beach ? If so is there a specific setting to use when nugget hunting ?

Probably.I know it is a multi-frequency unit and that it can cancel out black sand and salt water mineralization. The frequencies will probably determine the capability for nuggets.Best thing to do is to call 'Mary' at Garrett and ask.She tells only the truth.Good hunting.
