New GTI2500

I( just came into the posession of a nice GTI2500 and was wondering if they are effective for prospecting. i have a chance to gp to Arizona and do some prospecting and was wondering if the detector would do an OK job. Any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated. OH I also have two heads. One about 10 inch across and the other is oblong about 4 or 5 bu 9 or 10. Thanks again and good hunting all.

The GTI 2500 works well for prospecting. The 5 x 10 coil would also work really well in moderate to heavily mineralized ground, such as when prospecting. I hope that you have fun with it.
