Default Wheaties

I was going through all my finds from the last few years I noticed I had alot of wheaties so I started counting them. I know it's probably not alot but I had 72 wheaties. My oldest is a 1910 and I found a 1927d the other day. 9" deep.

How many wheaties do you have? I would love for you folk to share.

I dug 40 wheats last year and have dug 48 this year so far (the oldest that I could read is 1911). The wheats that I dig are usually in pretty rough shape and probably able to read the dates on about 30% of them.

Thumbs up Wheaties

I have several hundred wheaties, quite a few of them were detected. I have been at this since 1968, so in 39 years it's not surprising that I have several. Looks like the rest of you are off to a good start, detecting a wheatie will put a smile on my face just about any day...but the steel ones are hardest to pick up.

I have found 4 in my 2 months of detecting, all 4 in my own backyard, in the same day! 1936 is my oldest so far.

Default Only Wheaties

I've detected so far are in my cereal bowl. I'm new to but will be trying for whatever good old mother earth is willing to cough up, if it ever quits raining here.
