published info on detectors
I recently recieved a newspaper type catalog on, say, 10 or so different detector manufactures. The info was not informative enough to aid my discission process in choosing a detector. Is there a publication that I can relax, late night in my recliner, and brows or something on the internet that will provide information of substance to someone farley but not completely new to the subject? TY! for all input and Good Diggins!

The site you're on is a good place to start. There are several others. Many publications are general in content and do not provide "everything" you need to know. A knowledgeable dealer can also help.
