You said you tried "managed attachments". To clarify your clicking on the paper clip icon (3rd from the last icon) in the 1st row of icons in the Message: window right? If so did you scroll down to the bottom of the window and look at the attachment key? Depending on what file type your trying to upload there are max filesize restrictions. So if your picture is a jpg (mypicture.jpg) for example than the maximum file size you can attach is 390.6kb. Now I'm guessing if you don't know what a URL is, then most likely your not going to know how big your file is That's OK, if your using windows all you need to do is right click on the file and select properties. It will tell you how big your file is (example size: 105 KB (108,050 bytes)). If your using a Mac you can right click (or control click) on the file and select show info I think it is. I'm guessing your photo is probably bigger than 390.6kb. To get your photo under the 390.6kb size limit you will need to resize the photo so it will "fit" so to say. There are tons of free programs out there that you can use to do this. Irfanview (IrfanView - Official Homepage - one of the most popular viewers worldwide) and (Paint.NET - Free Photo Editing Software for Windows) are 2 that I can think of right off the bat.

So I'm sure your next question then is, great now how do I "resize" my photos. Each program is going to be slightly different, but the command is going to be most likely something like File | resize or Image | resize. You should be able to open the help program/file of the program and search for resize and that should give the proper instructions. Now remember once you have resized your photo to go File | Save As, and not File | Save or you will overwrite your original photo with the smaller one.

Once you have the photo under the max filesize you can upload it to your post. Click the browse button find the file, click Open, then click Upload.

I'm attaching a photo of one of our birds when he/she was a baby (as it's the only photo I have on this system right now), as an example.

I hope this helps, and your able to post your photos now! Boy that was a bunch to type out! And yeah I work in tech support if you couldn't tell he he he

By far the easiest way to post pics to this or just about any other message board is to have your pics hosted on an internet photo hosting site like Photobucket .

then you just paste the IMG tagged link into the body of the post .

Here is a link to photobucket its free and only takes a minute to register .

Image hosting, free photo sharing & video sharing at Photobucket

You can post pics like this !!
