Default Help Me Please

Hi Everyone,
I finally get my machines and it pours all day. It finally stopped and I was wondering if it is worth it to go out in wet soil? Also can anyone help with info on pinpointers? Are they worth it and what would be a good model?
Thanks,
Brian

They are definitely worth it. I have a vibraprobe. It is waterproof and quite handy.

Default We Love the rain

Rain gives us 2 advantages as treasure hunters. It makes the soil more conductive, allowing your machine to "see" deeper, plus it softens the ground making diggin a whole lot easier. good luck and happy huntin

Default Easy Digging

I LOVE to go out after a good rain. The soil is so much eaiser to dig in and it increases your chances of finding goodies.

I also like the Vibraprobe...GREAT little instrument and a WONDERFUL asset to MD'ing.

I concur about the pinpointer. I don't have a vibraprobe (Wish i had bought that one) but the one I use has saved me LOTS of time sifting the "pile".

VibraProbe - I wouldn't detect without it! In fact, I will be ordering me another VibraProbe soon since my daughter now detects with me and she steals my pinpointer most of the time! Good luck detecting and I hope you find something great!!!
