Red face I'd Like To Share My Finds But....

I'd be way too embarrassed to post my pics in the "Your Best Finds" section of this site. I read through the threads and everyone is posting about finding such incredible things that I couldn't put my measly pics of rusty railroad spikes, nuts/bolts/washers in that section. Is there some place to post pics of a "Rather Pathetic But I'm Still Newbie Enough To Be Tickled Pink At Finding Anything" nature?

I really like those old spikes! Lots of history. Feel free to post anything you find. I for one, enjoy seeing anything that is found. HH

Hey Riki,

The way I see it, treasure (or trash, for that matter) is in the eye of the beholder.

Keep on findin'...

Hey Rikki, I think we need to start recycling it would probably pay as much as the clad we are missing. I have faith that we will find great things though and SOON lol. Julie.

Went out again yesterday evening with hubby (he's my digger ) and hunted along the paths we've cut by the creek. Found quite a few aluminum cans..and a few more pieces of pie tins - will recycle all those as Julie suggested

Found another interesting object which I will get a pic of and post as I'm curious to hear everyone's ideas on what it might be.

Yep...one man's trash is this gal's treasure!

You never know what you may find around those creeks, especially considering the history of your area. Can't wait to see some of those great finds that are just waiting on you to dig up! Keep at it and good luck...tom

Default Finds

Sometimes a find starts out looking like junk. Once properly identified it turns out to be a nice keeper.

I never throw away an item until I know what it is.
