Keep at it, you're close. I've gotten very good at finding 1965's. Just remember, the next one could be your first silver.

Keep checking your 65's too...there were a limited number of 65 dimes that were produced in error that are silver...boobie has a post on here somewhere that talks about it...they are rare and valuable...HH!

You might want to stop searching where there is possible silver. That was a close call, my friend. We would not want you to wake up with any fishes...er I mean to say that we would not like for you to leave the silver club under any condition. We value our members, remember that.

Default Denverjoe04, look at the coin...

edge. If it is silver, you will not see the sandwiched copper tone metal in the middle, it will just be the uniform silver color.

I am pretty sure this is a reliabe quick check for US ridged edge coins.

OH MAN!!! You got Guido watching now. He really hates to lose
members in his Non-Silver club. You know its pretty hard to MD with a
broken leg. Happy hunting and go out and find that silver.

Hmm. Interesting choice of words, Tinman. I've met the tinsmith who built you and he can unbuild you, too.

Silver's overrated, don't you think? They should be searching for clad or tinfoil, instead.
