Searching For Resource Material On Dog Tags

I am in the search for resource material for dog tags. Even though I have very few of them I still consider them to be some of my favorite finds. I know others here have found quite a few while metal detecting as well. If anyone has any idea where I can obtain resource material it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Steve - I should have be more specific when I mentioned the word "dog tags". You are correct, our beloved four legged friends - not the military identification tags. Although I would love to find those too, I would do everything in my power to get it to it's rightful owners if I ever came across military dog tags. Thank you for that link. I have seen it before and I have contacted Diane concerning value of dog tags. She was interested in buying one of mine, which I will not sell since it is my favorite of all finds. She did mention that there are no research materials related to dog tags other than her website, but I know that is incorrect since I have seen advertisement in W&E Treasure's magazine for a book. I am thinking about purchasing it if I cannot find what I need through other research materials. That is the reason I posted this question.

If you know the author, take a look at Amazon or Barnes and Noble under Used and out of print books. Might find it cheaper there.
