Default Keeping your Keeper finds

I am wondering if after you find a keeper coin and have cleaned it the best you can with out destroying it. Do you save them in plastic or cardboard flippy's even though some may be cull? I have done this with my finds only because I feel the need to protect them because they were neglected and whisked away from there owner

Most of my coin finds I store in the little 1 1/2 X 1 1/2 plastic bags I always include a date and location with the find.

Some however which are better coins I do put in the 2X2 coin holders.

I also put the jewelry finds in the little bags with a date and location

I put the best in little coin holders. I sometimes take these and show them to Non Hunters. It makes them think a little about detecting. I also have the coin books that I use. The rest will go into plastic bags or a plastic holding bucket.Happy Hunting...Buster.....

Well so far I really only have 3 old coins I consider keepers. Right now they are all soaking in oil, Beale.

I keep mine in a crown royalbag. no no I did not drink it I found it metal detecting. The little coin holders are pretty cheap and can be found at wal*mart.

I use the plastic coin holders. The ones that that have a flap. The coin goes in on side and I slide a piece of paper in the other with the date and location where I found the coin and type and date of the coin. I also put rings that I found in them.(all 2 of them)
