I have found (detected) 6-8 hot rocks along the banks of the Arkansas River. They are magnetic, fairly dark in color, rounded off edges, and heavy for their size. Being found along a river bed I can see how the water could have smoothed them over. Are they meteorites? I don't know, but I would sure like to find out. Remember, I'm a newbie at this detecting business and could use all the help and advise I could get.
