Hi firebug

Welcome to the forum !!

although I do not use either brand of detector that you have mentioned, there are manufacturer specific forums !! just scroll to the bottom of the page , use the forum jump drop down and select metal detector forums !! someone there will be able to help you !!

Once again Welcome to the forum

I had a Garrett 1250 a while back and LOVED it for coins and relics. If the 2500 is a bigger brother of the 1250, then I'm sure it is a great choice. The 1250 had very accurate depth perception and object Identification.

Hi. I have a Garrett GTI 2500. I have had it for about 2 1/2 years and haven't had any trouble with it. I don't consider myself an expert so I can't tell you how good it is. I have found some coins, a watch, a WWII badge, so I guess it is a good one. Hope this helps.
