First Detector-What??
I want to get my first detector and have begun to look at White and Bounty Hunters. I want to spend about 4-500$
I am in post indian/ and early 1700-18-- building site areas. I am a real beginner so hope you folks can help. I'm also keeping in mind a physical issue/ I was born w/ only fingers on my right hand. Would this be a factor in choice? Thanks folks!

or get a used one to see if you like the hobbie. Kellyco has a whole lot to chose from.

Take a look at these units
 The units in that price range that work well in my opinion are, The Whites Prizum series 4 or 5 models to choose from, and there Pro series detectors. The Garrett brand Ace 250 or the GTA line 400,550 units also the Garrett GTP 1350 wich is at the upper end of the price range you sugested. Fishers metal detectors the ID Excell unit wich is very nice Life time warranty, I preffer the Fisher CZ 70 Pro but its quite a bit out of your price range. Also Kellyco for some reason is not selling the Whites Prizum line? but they sell all of the other Whites detector models.Take a look at these units there all good quality with a proven track record and good warrantys they perform well and range from $200 to about $ 570 Good Luck and welcome to detecting BG
