Default Indians

I have some really green and hard to read Indian cents and am looking for a good way to clean them. They're not much good as far as I can tell but who knows. I'm not against testing on the real bad ones first.
Thanks

Default Cleaning Indians

I was told by a Brit. that they use a red sauce. Sounds kind of like A1 or something. Supposed to clean coins well. Feedback?
Thanks

Plain old tomatoe juice or even ketchup will work. Soak time can vary on the amount of crud on the coin. Leave it in over night, and they will be clean, but it will affect the patina. So I would take them out after several hours and check the progress. Works for me. Of course I usually only do pennies that I am turning in. If they are really not that good, give it a try.
