went to diggin in virginia 2004.i had my buttons in a plastic box. took them out 2wks ago and put them in a display case with alight. now they are starting to tarnish.dont know why! but how do i get the tarnish off

My wife keeps anti tarnish strips in with the silver jewelry she makes to keep it from tarnishing. They are available from Rio Grande which is a supplier for jewelers.

Hello fishingmouse. I work in a copper plant. We use humisorb bags in our copper products when we ship them out. Its some type of desicitte that absorbs moisture out of the air. Keeps our metal tarnish free. I don't know were to buy it. If you find some, placing it in your display case should solve your problem. Goodluck Greg.
