Santee Cooper detecting
I am going to the Santee Cooper area in two weeks. Can anyone suggest any beaches or areas that I might hunt?
 I will be there for a week or so then off to Surf Side beach in S.C. Which is just below Myrtle Beach. I plan on finding a lot of gold at the beach  . Any suggestions there would also be appreciated.

Santee Cooper
Boobie, I do not know about Santee C. but on the 15th or 16th, the C.R.A.B.S, are going to have a beach hunt just north of Myrtle beach at Holden beach, NC and a cookout after at one of their houses. I am going to ry and make myself, if nothing comes up.
Checkout this site and go to the Metal detecting club news and chat. They seem to be a good bunch of guys. www.detectorx.com Thought you might want to give it a try, Holden beach is about 30 - 35 miles from N. myrtle Beach.
