Opinion on the Discovery 1100 for kids

Hi, just was wondering what your opinion of the Discovery 1100 is?

I'm thinking of getting one for the kids, is it user friendly? and keep them interested in the hobby? Any advise would be great.

Hi,If you or dead set on Bounty Hunter i would go with the Discovery 2200,bought one Sunday for 49.95 from RS.

I have one for my 8 year old son. He likes it but there is no pin point feature.
