Default Coins in the frost

Does anyone know if coins are upheaved in the soil like rocks and arrowheads are when there is frost?

Well that's great! I kinda thought so. The other day I found a '58 wheatie
right on top it was remarkable how new it looked or maybe someone dropped it.
