I was reading the Dowsing thread, and in it, you mentioned that brass is the best rod for dowsing......what is a 'loadable' dosing rod and where can I get it??? thanks

A loadable rod has a chamber into which you can put a sample of what you are dowsing for i.e. Gold, Silver, Coins...Heck, I've even put deer hair in my loadable and dowsed hunting spots for bucks....

You can find them on e-Bay sometimes and from Metal Detector Dealers.

P.S. Some of the loadable's are expensive BUT they all work on the same principle...PAPPY

thanks for your fast reply, may have to give them a try, I have used two long rods, made from old coat hangers.....I had mine mounted in to some wooden dowels, so that they could swing free of my fingers.....I'm a believer that they work. I've found my water, gas and electrical lines, but have never used them for treasure hunting.
