On my last hunt I found part of an old horse shoe and what I think are shoeing nails. I cleaned them up a bit with dish soap and a nail brush but want to get more of the rust off.
So yesterday I did son on-line research and last night put together a home made electrolysis. I used a 9 volt as the power source and baking soda in the solution. (I am trying one of the nails first because I have 3 of them) Should I use or add anything else for the solution and is a 9 volt a good enough power source? Please advise. |
