Try Maptech: Topo Maps Charts Navigation Software GPS and FREE Online Mapserver and look in their historic map section. They have alot of maps from the early 1900's. I live in Western PA and have noticed a few CCC camps on those maps. They also show old school which have been good to me. Good luck!

Elkco,
This is what I was able to find. Hope the links help. Civilian Conservation Corps Alumni - has links to different site in different states. I did see one site in St. Marys. Pennsylvania Civilian Conservation Camps - General History - when looking at this site, I noticed a camp in Ridgway. It has a drop down section of the different CCC camps and a pdf map that you can magnify. There were 6 CCC camps in Elk county. Pennsylvania Civilian Conservation Camps - just a general link for CCC sites in PA. Hope they help. |
