When Using Old Photos...
I like to study old photographs of our area. Interesting in their own right, but also give clues for possible coin hunting sites.
While looking at a photo online, I was baffled that I could not figure out exactly where it was taken. Then I realized that it had been developed backwards! Always double check for this when you are doing research. Keeps you from getting confused. And, it's an easy mistake to make!  Ed
