Default Photography and MDing.

Fogive me if this has already been mentioned before, but I thought I would share something I have done in the past. My first digital camera wasn't much, but it did provide me with some good research material. While out and about, I would see an area that had potential for MDing. I would take several shots of the area, and later sit down and ponder where on the site would be a good place to start. Also, if it was the end of the season for me I could refer back to the photos and ----Well OK, DREAM! A lot of the time, I would just forget some sites, or where I saw them, and this would give me the missing pieces that I needed to get back there. Sorry to say I suffer from that age related syndrom, CRD(can't remember diddly) Besides, it gave me something to do and plan for the warm season. I would put these pics in the same journal that I had old news paper stories and maps that I drew or came across. Just thought I would share it with ya'll.

I got my first digital camera just a few months ago and I take a lot of shots of the places I hunt or want to hunt in the future and they have just been sitting in the computer but after reading your post Bill I will print them out and put them in a file then I can study the shots as I mope around the house to get a much better idea of the spots I'II start detecting next time out.
Thanks for the tips.

Default GPS and digital camera

A lot of people use their digital cameras in conjunction with their GPS. They take a picture of a promising site, then set a waypoint and name it so they can remember which picture goes with which waypoint. Just an idea!! Happy hunting!
