Default Gold story from Texas

Hi everyone, I thought I would tell about a story that goes back to the 50's. 3 mexican farm hands were plowing in a farm field somewhere in Fisher County in the 50's. Fisher County is located just North of Nolan County where I live. They started seeing something shiny coming out of the ground as they plowed. So they investigated and realized they looked like gold bars. They finally came up with 7 of them. They weren't sure if that was what they were so they went to the local Dentist and they felt they could trust his judgement as to wether they were real gold bars. So they arrived at the Dentist office and asked for him to meet them at the back door. When he came out they showed what they had and he immediately said let me take them in for closer analysis. He told them to come back the next day. So they returned the next day hoping to hear that they had hit the motherlode. Well the Dentist office was closed and he was nowhere to be found. They tried for days to find him with no success. After spending a lot of time trying to find him, they finally gave up and these Mexican men were quite distraught over the situation, but figured they could do nothing about the Dentist. It was said that about a year later that the Dentist's whereabouts came to light. What he supposedly did was sell all seven gold bars and moved to Florida and retired in style. But the reason he was found was someone had put a bullet hole through his head and was found in his home murdered. Maybe these Mexican men caught up with him and put their own justice into practice. They were never found either and the murder went unsolved. The seven gold bars were long gone too. It was a number of years later that a farmer found a single gold bar in his field close to the same area of the seven original gold bars. No one knows what the old farmer did with the single gold bar. But is there more gold that may have been buried by the Spaniards in Fisher Coutny,Texas? Who knows until some one goes looking. I have been approached by several individuals that wanted to know how deep the detectors I sell will go. So this mystery continues to this day. Do you start an expidition to Fisher County,Texas or not??? I'll be waiting to see if some of the TQ'ers show up over here with wide eyes and big shovels!!! Good luck my fellow treasure hunters.
