With such a common name as White it doesn't happen too often but I have been lucky a couple of times to find a gem in my research like this. JC

Rip- I have to say that's a pretty neat story. Do you think there was a "connection" to the fact of you planting lillies at your mothers grave, then finding the buttons the way you did?

Hi Smitty,Definatly ! I'll tell ya another story about it.

Not long after finding the buttons I whent to the Glowworm detecting again.I got out of the car and was working my way through the field when I said "ok mom now show me some silver !" No sooner than I said that I got a signal and dug up the first and only silver coin found there ! It was a 1806 spanish 1/2 reale .

I think your mom was with you Rip!!!

My maiden name is James...Suppose to go back to Jesse and Frank...There is more of a likeness to Frank, from the pics on the net...I would love to do research, but I always seem to get stuck!!!

Whoa, RIP. Your Mom acts fast, huh? My Mom finds 4 leaf clovers by asking her Mom for help. Now that she has a MD, maybe Grandmommy can help HER find some silver, too!
