Default garage sales

just reading posts this a.m. before work and i remembered about 5 years ago jackie and i went to an annual street rummage sale in our town and she bought a pair of kids jeans for $.50 and in the back pocket was a 10 and 5 dollar bill. Who puts $15.00 in a toddler's pocket? had gone through the wash a few times. lunch on the kid! it IS where you find it.

The grandparents probably put it in there, their loss, your gain, doesn't matter where you find treasure as long as you find it.

You know what I found at a tag sale once, that I still think is neat? An old White's metal detector for $10.00. And, I mean old...

It had a square box, with a strap to go around the neck, and another strap, which attached around the back. The hand piece was then plugged into this unit. I believe it had maybe a six inch coil.

When I put it on, I looked like a robot. It did seem to work well, as I tried it out.

Eventually, I sold it on eBay (this was in 1995 or 1996).

Robert
