Default golf course

when i finally get my prizm later this year i'm going back to a path in the woods around a golf course. this must have been used before it was built because as i was walking i looked down and thought i found a wheatie... it was a 1908 indian head. there has to be more. has anyone else tried near golf courses?

Great idea...nice IH penny...havent found or sen one walking by here...Im sure you get plenty of 'where the rubber meets the road' action as you work for the Post Office. I have a retired USAF co -worker who did this for just a few years in Indiana after he retired. We almost fell off of our chair (during our break) when he told us his route was 9 miles......Wow...Thats 1/2 of a forced march in he Corps'...

If there's one, there's got to be more. I did hunt on a course that was shut down once....just a few modern pennies

I'm in the process of actually hunting a golf course... it's been kinda tricky getting permission, as I go to the clubhouse every time I go by, and I don't always get a "yes"... but I figure, every time I ask someone new and they don't know me and say no, the next time they WILL know me, and may say yes...

btw, the last good coin I found there was this 1894 half, so I'm gonna go ahead and say YES, get permission and HUNT that puppy...
