Joker, I would like to think that if it weren't for people like us... alot of this stuff would simply slip into oblivion with the passing of time! Great job on the research.

Great news! I took a drive over to the property(2 hours away) and had another talk with the homeowners.. well it went excellant!

He turns out to be an old rock hound himself so it was really no problem getting permission..

Yes, full permission, all propertys and anytime I want!! I was blown away..

After we capped the deal, we had a beer.. Now I quit drinking 10 years ago but I was so happy I had a cold beer with my new friends.

We talked for about an hour or so about the property and its history. I think we both learned a bit more and we were excited about what I might find.

I didnt get to hunt today as time was limited but I have his number and a signed permission slip.. Now its time to decide when..
