Default Historic Mansion from the 1800's

This winter I went with my son on a scout field trip to this place, called the Grignon mansion in Kaukauna, Wisconsin.

Charles A. Grignon Mansion

Really interesting history and the guy who owned the place traded with the local Indians and made frequent trips between the house and the river. I think the land by the river is owned by a paper company or something like that so may not be a big deal. The mansion grounds itself would be a real treat to MD!

My concern is going through the Outagamie Historical Society to ask permission. Do you guys think I have any chance?

Like Anne said what have you got to lose. The worst they could say is NO, and if you tell they anything you find they could have for the museum if they wanted, they just might say YES..............................Good luck

You don't ask - You don't get. What's the worst they can say 'no' BUT they might just say 'sure go ahead'.

Good hunting to You,

BDA
