I thought this would be an interesting resource I've not looked at before. I was thinking in the area of large groups of people at airshows, fairs, etc. Especially around the old buildings, many of which are still standing. As these older smaller airports get closed for developement, it might become out of sight, out of mind, and forgotten. At least it's worth a thought, and plentiful.

The Genoa airport is right around the corner (4 minutes) from me in south east Houston.
I didn't realize it was ever an airport, just know it as a landfill. I'll have to see if there is a place to detect around there. Although I think it is all fenced off. Although that explains the plane that lands sometimes back behind the trees not far from the landfill. It must be a part of that airport that is still in use for Ellington. Thanks for the info, Doug
