Well, in 20 years or so, and you can't get around as well, you will have enough specimens to begin your new hobby of lapidary/cutting/mounting. That will last you another 20 years.

I doubt you will forget you found whatever it is in 20 years ,,you may have to go through buckets of stuff to find it ,,but you will know its in there somewhere .

I put lapidary in pretty early in my rock hounding ,, you should at least get tumblers ,, and if funds permit a cab machine .

The crystals that you displayed are nice ,,yet the color does not look gem quality in the pics ,, but for cabs ,,its perfect !!

I have been a rock hound for more than 40 years ,, its a great way to spend time and I never go rock hounding with out my detector !!

Actually, tumblers are on my list. I have access to a cab machine, which I hope to spend time on in the near future.
