Default Another wedding ring retrieval/quest

Well, it looks like I have my weekend cut out for me... I saw on Craigslist that someone posted about a lost ring:

Lost ladies wedding ring, at ACL Festival on Friday night 9/14. 18K Yellow gold band w/ total of 32 diamonds, pave set in 8 rows of 4 diamonds per row.

I've been emailing her back and forth today trying to get a bearing on exactly where it might have been lost - I've just about narrowed it down to.... the entire park... I do have a map of the event and the stages, etc., and she did tell me which ones they attended, but it is a daunting task at the very least...

Oh well, it will give me something to do, and who knows what else I'll find... I will try and dig every signal (there are literally hundreds of thousands of pull tabs there) and see what happens... wish me luck!

What an amazing weekend you have ahead of you! I'd never have thought to check lost/found articles, but what better way to retrieve something someone has lost. Best of luck to you! Hopefully someone hasn't gotten there before you - they may not be as nice about returning that whopper of a ring!

Good luck...HH!

Good Luck. One consolation I see right off is that the ring is 18K.... so that should read alot higher than Pulltabs. Not sure what detector you use, but I would " notch " or " disc " them out. Once again, best of luck, it looks like a daunting task indeed.

She did say in an email:

“When I went to the Lost & Found at the ACL, I was really shocked at how many rings had been turned in - who would have thought so many people would lose wedding rings!”

And there were around 65,000 people there every day for the 3 days... and I wasn't exactly too positive I'd find the other guy's ring, either, so...

Update: Here's the map she sent me... the area she shaded is the area I need to search... it's probably, oh, maybe 3 or 4 football fields in total!

Wow, that's a pretty large area. I bet you'll find way more than just her ring.

Good luck!!!

This place has a million, billion, eighty-hundred-and-eleventeen trillion pulltabs, so I'll prolly have to take an extra pouch with me...

That is one big area.
I wish you the best of luck Robert.
I just hope that someone else didn't pick it up and run away with it.

Yes... I'm excited... I need to get some new batteries, and stock up on water... I'm gonna make a day out of it - maybe 2!
