Pic of christmas week in texas/finds

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE.....!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well we just got home from our christmas trip in texas Burrrr it feels 20 degrees colder here in NC.., with my wifes family..good folks..
Lots went on this week..I got my wife a new metal detector, we did our first hunt together on the Beach at galviston texas, We had a wonderful time.Spent some needed time with the kids and family...I found this forum and been hooked since..Heres what we found.
The gold rope chain has 14k stamped on the hasp and its heavy..My wife found it within 20 min useing the new detector..lucky her, I for sure will take it for appraisal..soon..
I hope its real..Along with the silver nickel???? cuff link..I found the horse shoe 7" deep it was singing a sweeet tone song!!
The rest of the finds were around 4" deep on the beach..
Sorry the pic are blurred Thang cheapo digital camera..I'll get a better pic soon..Now to hit some local spots..

Hey dougdann, I had to ask my wife...we were in front of the SAN LOUIS hotel resort..On the beach up next to the rocks..I kept detecting near the water break and 3 foot above and she said No the kids party and hang out near the rocks, Cant argue with 27 years of Texas experience..She found the gold chain,pocket knife,The Beautiful cufflink and a brass bullet we think..all within 10 foot of each other..
Were thinking most of these finds were from A prom night party..lol
Good luck I ask her where more Hot spots are..check out the beaches across from the mariot,holiday inn,wingate all the ritzy ones..up by the rocks on the beach.and near the peirs...Your in Detectors heaven down on Galviston beach I coulda hunted for weeks, But we were pressed for time, her Dad was'nt feeling well..I'm just glad she got lucky..Now she's got the Bug..Be sure and post up your finds...
Dougdann you were'nt one of the 3 guys on the texas city dike detecting all of them were swinging the Ace 250....Me and my wife both believe the whole galviston beaches are Hott spots..james..
