Default Might be a funny one about the beach

Has anyone detected a nudist beach? There is one in North Miami Beach and might hit it while I am around the area. I'm thinking it could produce good since people take everything off. If it does not produce I am sure I will catch a few good views. Maybe a good idea for some of you detectorist tourists or natives here that detect the nudist beach. Never heard here of anyone detecting a beach like that so i'm just wondering if anyone has done it before and if there were any good finds. Let me know. Thanks in advance.

Default I'd think it was too dangerous

You're liable to walk off a cliff or trip over your detector and break it. Since the visitors aren't wearing any clothes and may be stashing them along the edge of the beachline I would hunt the area where the dunes start. Especially focus on rocks and tree stumps that make excellent places to stash stuff and keep it dry, this applies to all beaches actually but perhaps more so at a nude beach.
Good hunting, you never know what you're going to find,

BDA

Default Not sure if I will hit the nudist beach

there are so many places to detect that I might leave the nudist beach for another day. I was just wondering if anyone had detected at a beach like that with good results. Also something a bit different to talk about.

umm... if that's the beach in Hallendale... err... well,... the views aren't that great. lol!!

I went to the beach that, I guess is RIGHT next to it. We were walkin' along and saw a sign saying "from this point on it's clothing-optional so continue with caution." I was just standing on the other side of the fence and got more of an eyefull then I wanted.

We went back to the clothing-mandatory side and did some swimming. Found a bottle buried in the water with some weird oil in it and a letter. We poured it out and took the letter out, it was written all in French. A Haitian family was camped next to us and we asked them to read it (don'tcha know, all Haitian's know French!), they took one look at it, freaked out in French, packed up and left. Apparently it was some kind of voodoo curse.

That was about 3 years ago, and so far I'm good. So if that IS the beach you're going to, think of lil me out there between nudists and freaking-out-in-French Haitians and get a good giggle.

Didn't they tell you what type of curse the letter said?

Sure didn't. They just pointed at it and said it was a curse, started talking in French and left. The most we could understand was that it was written by someone who had their heartbroken. Ohwell! *shrug*
