Default Can Not Figger This Thing Out

I found this brass object about 25 years ago.
It showed up in tha water heater closet today?

I never could figger out what it is.

The large hole has a lip on tha inside
apparently for a retainer of some kind.

Could this be a water nozzle, maybe
for a hotel fire hose?

The inside diameter of tha big hole
is 1 and 5/16 inch.

The inside diameter of tha small hole
is 11/16 inch.

Thanks fer lookin,

Tabdog

My guess is that it is part of a lamp, or possibly part of a andiron for a fireplace.

You know,

It does look like a nice old lamp part.

Maybe 1940s or so?

Anyway, i just stuffed it somewhere.

It finally showed back up.

It is a good chunk os brass though,

Tabdog

My parents used to have fireplace pokers with tops like that. That's my best guess. ???
