Default Metal Test

Anyone know how to determine tin vs aluminum and nickel and zinc. which all seem not be attracted with a magnet. wait -does tin attract a magnet, I cant remember.. but if you ever tried to sort them, it kinda all looks the same when made into somthing.

I ve been tearing a part motors and the cast around them appears to be aluminum, but may be any alloy...ugh

Go to chemeddl.org (Chemical Education Digital Library) It will tell you everthing about metals you need to know.

tin vs aluminum

Aluminum will react with Lye violently and is lighter then Tin.

and nickel and zinc.

Nickel is Extremely Hard and Zinc is almost a soft a lead.
