Anyone know how to determine tin vs aluminum and nickel and zinc. which all seem not be attracted with a magnet. wait -does tin attract a magnet, I cant remember.. but if you ever tried to sort them, it kinda all looks the same when made into somthing.
I ve been tearing a part motors and the cast around them appears to be aluminum, but may be any alloy...ugh |

Aluminum will react with Lye violently and is lighter then Tin. and nickel and zinc. Nickel is Extremely Hard and Zinc is almost a soft a lead. |
