I don't run either machine but I believe ALL metal detectors will find silver if silver is in the place your hunting/looking.

I would say they both will find silver! i do know the SE runs at the 29 freqs and is said to be a deep unit. Good luck with your choice, Beale.

Hi Titan Man,
 I have an Explorer SE Pro and a White's m6 which is almost a MXT... I use them both equally. I find silver with both but the Minelab will find it deeper... The Minelab is tougher to learn  .... I guess I'm tryingto say they are both great machines and are only as the person running it.... So get one and get out and start digging, Digger Dave
