Default Sat Map question (what is this)

What causes these white areas on a sat map? This is a hay field but it MIGHT have been something else in the past. I have looked at the field and there is nothing there but grass so I don't have a clue.

I don't think its clouds as this is a close up map. Well unless the clouds are on the ground. The distance listed on the map is 30ft, accurate or not I don't know. While I do see a few odd white things on different properties, I don't see anything like these, especially when there is nothing there.

That "30 feet" is the equivelant zoom range. The pics are taken from satellites in orbit. It could be anything on the ground from remaining snow patches, to something the farmer put on the field, to the sun reflecting off standing water.

This is a FlashEarth map so I don't know the actual age. But there has not been anything in that field since I moved to this area 5 years ago. One day soon I am going to go walking around in that area to see what is there laying in the dirt. The white spots confused me because there are no other ones like it anywhere around.
